Tabs was feeling spunky on patrol this morning. He walked me further than usual, almost to the end of the circle, and we thoroughly investigated the common area for the first time in weeks. I think Tabs wanted to make sure Harris wasn’t hiding in any of the spots we didn’t check last week, just to make sure… And he wasn’t. There were no intruder sightings at all this morning, which was both a relief and a disappointment. As a member of the First Order and a former Sith, Tabs has embraced The Dark Side… Actually, he alternates between Sith and Jedi, depending on the gravy situation. This weekend for Father’s Day, to give props to his male human assistant, who’s a big Star Wars fan and a daddy, Tabs wore his new Stormtrooper tie on patrol. As I sit here typing this on my laptop in my dining room, I still have sand between my toes, salt water in my fur… Actually, in my hair, but the word, “fur,” slipped out because throughout our entire trip down to San Simeon and Hearst Castle this weekend (I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow), I kept thinking about how much Tabs loved beaches.
